PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The University of Maryland Capital Region Health constructed a new regional medical center at the Largo Town Center in Prince George’s County, MD. The facility consists of approximately 600,000 square feet of space, housing 205 private rooms, an Emergency Room with 45 treatment bays, and eight operating rooms at an estimated cost of $543 million. The project underwent all construction phase requirements and successfully opened June 2021.
In support of the project, UMMS retained ELOCEN to provide critical Construction Management and Master Schedule Oversight.
